| 5 | Assumptions relating to below ground work carried out during training | |
| a | The contractor is responsible for ensuring he supplies all the attendances stated above, in addition the contractor should verify the accuracy of the assumptions stated above, plus the length and diameter of the repair sleeve. All charges will be applicable if the Trainer turns up on site and is unable to carry out the works due to one of the above assumptions/conditions not being met. | |
| b | The contractor is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of works as described below. The contractor is also responsible for Liabilty insurance that covers his staff and our equipment during the Training period. | |
| c | No infiltration in the region where the repair sleeve is to be applied. If necessary the contractor will arrange for grouting beforehand to stop any water inflow. | |
| d | Flows of less than 10% in the pipe section where the repair is to be applied, or repair equipment is to be inserted. This may require overpumping or the use of stoppers upstream. | |
| e | Pipe to be clean and free off , bends (unless where you have otherwise notified us in writing) , debris, roots, and encrustations in the section where repair sleeve is to be applied. | |
| f | Pipe section where equipment is inserted to be free from debris or encumbrances which reduce pipe diameter by more than 15%. | |
| g | Pipe section where sleeve applied to be free from diametric changes unless notified in writing in advance. | |
| h | Prior to mobilizing trainer, it is our assumption that there is a recent CCTV survey (no more than 3 months old) showing the pipe section to be repaired. | |
| i | Where applying Saddle Liner and Junction Liner or Plumbliner we assume there are no more than one sweeping 45 degree bend on the lateral line. | |
| j | Where applying Saddle Liner, it is our assumption that the contactor will prepare the pipe using his Mainline lateral cutter and operator to trim and tidy up the lateral to the satisfaction of our Trainer and the aforesaid lateral cutter may be used for remove the coating of the mainline CIPP (where applicable) to ensure we get a bond. | |
